Forbes Top 2,000 global companies
On 6 May Forbes published its latest ranking of the world’s biggest companies. Instead of the former 3 now we find 4 Chinese banks at the top of the list. Berkshire Hathaway (USA) kept the 5th place. The 2,000 companies on the list represent 61 countries and revenues of USD 39 trillion. Most firms are from the USA (579), followed by China (232) and Japan (218). The biggest leaps forward were made by Facebook (200 places) and Starbucks (450 places).
