Forbes: the wealth of the 400 richest Americans is at a record high of $6.6 trillion
The wealth of the 400 richest Americans has reached a record $6.6 trillion, with Elon Musk still at the top of the list, Forbes magazine reported.
The minimum net worth required to make the list is $3.8 billion. Forbes noted that this is $500 million more than the minimum value set in 2024.
Elon Musk, the list leader, had a record $438 billion. In second place was Larry Ellison, chairman of the board of directors of the technology company Oracle, with $276 billion. In third place was Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook and CEO of the social media company Meta, with $253 billion.
He is followed by Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, with $241 billion, and Larry Page, co-founder of Google, with $179 billion.
US President Donald Trump is ranked 201st on the list, with a fortune of $7.3 billion.
