It is an important requirement for the authorization of preparations that are not classified as plant protection products
Preparations that do not qualify as plant protection products may not contain either simple substance(s) or ingredients marked as “approved” or “not approved” in the EU approved plant protection active ingredient database.
For this reason, Nébih calls the attention of license holders to carefully check the composition of the planned preparation in all cases when compiling the licensing/re-licensing documentation. The requirement is 89/2004. It concerns Annex 9 of the FVM Decree, i.e.: it applies to products with a plant protection effect that are not classified as plant protection agents, protective substances, interaction enhancers, auxiliary substances, effect enhancers and plant protection devices. Due to the above, it is particularly important that license holders check the composition of the affected preparations when preparing the authorization/reauthorization documentation. It is also important that the entire composition of the co-formulants be administered to evaluate the preparations. In case of confidential information, the manufacturing company can also send the composition directly to the licensing authority. The composition of the “Annex 9 preparations” already licensed will be reviewed at the time of relicensing.
