An important deadline is approaching for growers and distributors of grape propagating material
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) draws the attention of those involved in the production and distribution of grape propagating material to the fact that they must declare their activities by May 20 on the inspection notification form on the Nébih website. Below you will find useful information about each activity, how to download and submit the forms, as well as the certificates of origin and the vineyard school register.

The annual notification form entitled “Inspection notification – on the activity of growing and placing on the market grape propagating material in 202…” is used to notify the inspection of the following activities:
1.) vine school propagation
2.) wholesale of grape propagating material
3.) certified stock plantation maintenance
4.) propagation from plant stock temporarily authorized for propagation (so-called standard plantation)
In the first three cases, the activity can only be carried out with a permit, as a result of which the persons concerned receive regular inspections. Propagation material can only be taken from the standard plantations if it is notified to Nébih for inspection in the given year, and then the propagating material inspectors of the regionally competent county government office acting in terms of plant cultivation have inspected the plantation.
The annual registration form is used to update customer and activity data for the current year
It is possible to report here if someone has suspended or terminated their activity and, where appropriate, requests the withdrawal of a wholesale license for grapevine school or grape propagation material.
Regarding the standard plantations registered for inspection in the last 3 years and inspected by the propagating material inspectors of the territorially competent county government office, no. 5080. The Nébih Horticultural Propagation Propagation Department will send a personalized form to customers.
Those who only carry out wholesale activities of grapevine schools or grape propagating material, as well as those who only have stock plants, must independently download the annual inspection report form from the Nébih website, fill it out and sign it and return it by the deadline of May 20. In addition, the inspection notification sheet of the standard plantations planned for propagation newly (from this year), no. 5078. it is also necessary to save the form independently from the Nébih website.
