Important date and developments: next week, the antibiotic use reporting system will restart
After a significant “stitching up of wrinkles”, those affected can use the system for reporting antibiotic use again from the middle of next week. Veterinarians and their authorized representatives will be able to use new functions such as the “zero declaration” requested by many, but many other amendments aimed at improving data quality and making it easier to fill in will also come into effect. Customers can record reports for January on the interface until the end of February.

As we wrote earlier, based on last year’s experience, Nébih is introducing several innovations in the antibiotic use reporting system. Another important goal of the development is to ensure that the data content of the reports is in line with the European Union data provision obligation*. Those concerned can still record the reports on Nébih’s Customer Profile System (https://upr.nebih.gov.hu/).
The renewed interface will be available from the middle of next week
Among other things, it includes – not expanded, but – a new breakdown of animal species, thereby triggering the obligation to record the exact age. A number of further developments aimed at improving data quality and more flexible data filling are also being implemented. The former includes the validation of breeding codes and their form, so from now on, the system notifies users in a warning message if they try to record data with an incorrect breeding code. Among the functions that make filling in easier, it can be mentioned that it is possible to copy previous reports.
Notification also becomes simpler for authorized representatives
In the future, they can choose from a drop-down list which breed they currently want to upload. A further change is that, in the case of antibiotic feeds, the veterinary mixing ratio also included in the prescription will now have to be specified. And for those who fail to finalize their report before the deadline, the system sends a notification to their customer gateway storage. Although data on antibiotic use must be provided to the EU, so the system is also used to collect this, last year there was a significant demand for the possibility of “zero reporting”. In accordance with users’ requests, this function has also been made available in the system with this development.
Those concerned can use the renewed interface from the middle of next week, in which reports for January can be recorded – instead of the 15th – until the end of February.
