The dynamic growth of tourism continues

The dynamic growth of tourism will continue for the rest of the year, and the summer high season will bring even better results – according to analysts interviewed by MTI.

According to data published on Wednesday by the Central Statistical Office (KSH), in June, the number of nights spent by foreign guests grew by 15.6 percent, while the number of domestic guest nights grew by 8.8 percent, compared to the same period of last year. Revenues of hotels grew more dynamically than the guest turnover: the total gross revenue increased by 22.1 percent, and accommodation revenue increased by 23.9 percent. (MTI)
