The school milk program continues

The long-time ago established school milk program continues. Currently only every seventh child reaches milk. With the EU and national support about 760 thousand primary school students could consume 2 deciliters of milk on teaching days.

As the Milk Marketing Board told in 2011 a double amount 800 million HUF will be granted to support school milk program. Previously, only half of that amount was paid, but this was proved to be insufficient for the promotion of school milk, since only 110-130 thousand pupils consumes milk regularly – reports Népszabadság Online.
