The expansion of tourism continues according to tourism organizations

The expansion of tourism continues since the beginning of the year, and both rural and capital hotels have reported about favorable reservations for the summer season – was presented at the joint press conference of the Budapest Festival and Tourism Center (BFTK) and the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ).

The managing director of BFTK, Bán Teodóra explained that in the capital, in January-April, 2.9 million guest nights were registered, 90 percent of them in hotels. Expansion in the number of guest nights was 4.6 percent, and the number of guests increased by 5.5 percent, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
