The beach development program continues
The beach development program continues, in the second phase that is just starting out, the Danube bend and the Tisza lakes can be renewed from 1-1 billion forints, and the free beaches of the Balaton from 3 billion forints – the CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) said on Thursday at the Szigetcsúcs peak at Kisoroszi.
Guller Zoltán highlighted that the goal of the MTÜ is to renew all the free-water beaches by 2030.
The CEO said today that domestic tourism has become the driving force of Hungarian tourism, so the beach development program has started two years ago. In the first phase, more than 30 settlements near the Lake Balaton have received fundings of about 2 billion HUF last year. (MTI)
