Lidl carries on with its salt and sugar content optimisation programme
In the 2019 fiscal year Lidl Hungary used 18 tons less salt and more than 196 tons les sugar in making private label products, thereby contributing to the health of customers. One of the core elements of the innovative and responsible retailer’s sourcing strategy is to have 20 percent less sugar and salt in private label products by 2025.
