By collecting and utilizing agricultural film waste, we can significantly reduce the environmental impact and contribute to the preservation of our created world, Minister of Agriculture István Nagy declared on Friday in Kunsziget. The Minister recalled that farmers also use various agricultural plastic films to a significant extent in Hungary during crop production and livestock farming. Almost 10,000 tons of waste are generated each year, which has not been possible to collect and recycle economically.
