Hungarian customers buy food on impulse
Hungarians tend to be different from the European average when it comes to purchasing food.
People in Hungary are buying more products on impulse than anywhere else, and only go shopping if they run out of something at home. In 28 European countries, on the other hand, the majority of customers go food-shhopping on a regular basis and with a pre-planned list of items they need to purchase – Nielsen's newst survey, carried out in 55 countries, stated. Four out of ten Hungarians (39 percent) only go shopping if they ran out of something.
