Focus on the supply chain and labor market challenges of the Tata region – TRELP’s first professional event was successful
The first professional event of the Tata Regional Supply Chain Platform (TRELP) took place on February 19th. The platform was established in cooperation with the Hungarian Logistics, Procurement and Inventory Company, the Hungarian Logistics Service Centers Association, Edutus University and Trans-Sped with the aim of strengthening the industrial-logistics competitiveness of the Tata region and encouraging joint thinking among the companies and professionals of the region.
The professional day focused on current issues of the Tata region’s supply chain and the changing dynamics of the labor market. Participants were introduced to the strengths of the region’s supply chain, the latest technology trends, the challenges of the labor market, and the opportunities for recruitment and retention in the world of manufacturing through roundtable discussions and expert presentations. In addition, the economic impacts of the development of the M1 motorway were discussed, and the economic analysis of Ákos Péter Bod shed light on the opportunities and challenges facing the region from a fresh, location-specific perspective.
“The event created an excellent opportunity for participants to share their experiences, build new relationships, and strengthen regional cooperation. This type of professional dialogue and joint thinking is crucial for the industrial and logistics development of the Tata region, and contributes to the region’s companies remaining competitive in the changing labor market and economic environment,” said Balázs Balogh, the Director of Corporate Relations at Edutus University.
“Our goal is to provide real, practical answers to the region’s supply chain and labor market challenges. In today’s economic environment, the key to competitiveness is cooperation, information sharing and joint strategic thinking. We are convinced that the cooperation of local companies and professional partners can not only respond to changes, but also proactively shape the economic future of the region”
– said Sándor Bátki, CEO of Trans-Sped.
This is just the beginning: TRELP’s strategic goal in the Tata region is to build a long-term professional community, bringing together logistics and procurement managers on one platform and facilitating the sharing of knowledge and experience – all of this serves to support the industrial and logistics development of the region.
