As China’s quarantine measures lead to production shortages at the world’s largest textile manufacturer, fashion companies are running out of raw materials – origo wrote.
The delivery of summer and autumn collections are at risk. Due to the epidemic, the clothing industry in Italy could suffer losses of up to 230 million euros in the first half of the year.
As a result of unprecedented measures due to the coronavirus epidemic, some factories in China have been temporarily closed, while others have been quarantined, resulting in a significant drop in emissions from the world’s largest Chinese textile manufacturer. (origo)
