FM: more than 17 billion HUF direct support to the pig sector

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the pig breeders will receive a total of more than 17 billion HUF direct support this year.

The support included the existing 8.5 billion HUF pig welfare support and the new 8.62 billion HUF animal breeding welfare support. This amount is twice as double than the 2014 amount – Horváth István Ministerial Commissioner of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) responsible for special programs announced on Saturday, at the 8th Mangalitsa Festival in Budapest.
