FM: a producers’ cooperation can help the farmers
Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture urged the eradicating of abusive, unfair trade practices at the meeting of the EU agricultural ministers in Pozsony on Tuesday.
According to the communication of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) sent to MTI, the ministry leaders discussed what changes would be required in the EU legislation to strenghten the bargaining power of the farmers in the business relations of the food supply chain and to develop a more transparent, fairer trade and pricing system.
