FM: dairy farmers to receive extraordinary support
According to the government’s decision, the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) provides 11.44 billion HUF bonus support to the dairy farmers in 2016 – the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) announced on Thursday.
Czerván György Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) stressed that Hungary is strongly affected by the decline of raw milk prices. In February 2014, the producer price of raw milk was 109 HUF per milk kilogram, while currently the takeover price of raw milk at small producers is around 60-65 HUF and 80 HUF at larger producers.
