FM: the number of origin or geographical labeled products should be increased
The agricultural ministry's strategic objective is to increase the number of products with designation of origin and geographical indications.
Czerván György, Minister of State for the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) responsible for agri management at a professional conference held on the occasion of the Terra Madre (Mother Earth), Day on Thursday in Budapest told that it is the common duty to all of us to protect the heritage of the nation, to maintain and preserve it for the future generations. He explained that the small and medium-sized enterprises with their high added value agricultural products help to boost rural income generation capacity, the creation of new jobs, the supplying of consumer with healthy, quality foods.
