FM: wine exports increased
In the first eight months of the year, the value of wine exports increased by 20 percent and its volume increased by 31.5 percent, compared to the same period of last year.
The unified price of exported wines declined – Gál Péter, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM), responsible for Protection of Origin said at the Grape-Wine-Pálinka Subcommittee meeting of the Agriculture Committee of the Parliament.
He explained that the growth was significant in markets where Hungarian wines are typically exported on low average prices. (MTI)
