FM: the volume of wine exported from Hungary increased in the first half of 2015-10-07
Hungary this year exported 349 thousand hectoliters of wine in the first half of the year, 5.2 percent more than in the year before. The primary trading partners remained the European countries, but sales are continuously expanding outside Europe.
The Ministry of Agriculture (FM) told MTI that the value of export in the first six months was 40 million euros (12 billion HUF), 9.2 percent more than in the same period of the previous year. The average price increased by 3.8 percent from 1.11 euros per liter to 1.15 euros in a year. (MTI)
