FM: The government supports the modernization of milk production and processing

The government supports the modernization of the dairy production and the establishment of modern dairy plants with various forms of support – Nagy István, Parliamentary Minister of State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture said on Wednesday in Budapest, at the World Milk Day Event of the Milk Interprofessional Organization and Product Board.

He added: The government and milk producers are responsible for how they can work together to increase processing.

If the dairy farmers join and they handle processing and trade, then they can be safely profitable in the long term – the Minister of State added. (MTI)
