FM: the government supports the tobacco growers
By 2020, the government continues to support the work of tobacco growers in Hungary – the Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) said at the open on the open day of the Hungarian Association of Hungarian Tobacco Farmers (Madosz) on Friday in Ófehértó, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county.
Nagy István explained that as a temporary national aid the former 600 thousand HUF per hectare will be given to the producers in unchanged form. He added that instead of 1000 working hours per hectare employment obligation, the producers only need to fulfill 500 working hours. In addition, growers can get an additional 300,000 forints from the de minimis form of support, so they can get a total of up to 1 million HUF per hectare. (MTI)
