The food VAT cut is part of a process that – depending on the performance of the economy – can continue in the future – Nagy István, the Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture told MTI on Saturday.
Nagy István reminded that the process began last year when the VAT on pig meat was reduced from 27 to 5 percent and this year , the VAT on fresh milk was reduced from 18 to 5 percent, while the VAT on poultry meat and eggs decreased from 27 to 5 percent – he said. (MTI)
