FM: agriculture is a major contributor to economic growth
The output of agriculture greatly helps the growth of economy this year. The volume of the sector’s gross added value increased by 13.4 percent in the second quarter, contributing to the 2.6 percent GDP growth by 0.4 percentage point – Czerván György told.
Czerván György, Deputy Minister of State for the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) on Thursday at the opening ceremony of the Livestock Days of Kaposvár, held for the tenth time pointed out that the good results are primarily due to the favorable results of the summer harvest, the promising autumn harvest and the expanding performance of livestock production.
