FM: the Hungarian milk is competitive
The Hungarian milk is competitive, the problems are due to the oversupply in the world market, not only in Hungary but also in several countries – the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) told MTI.
According to the information of the ministry, oversupply is not offset by the growing demand and price declines. According to the analysis, price competition is huge on the Hungarian milk product market, therefore import often displaces the Hungarian products. This is closely connected with the fact that the consumers are very price-sensitive. (MTI)
