FM: the national parks can spend more than 46 billion HUF on eco-tourism developments in 2020
FM: the national parks can spend more than 46 billion HUF on eco-tourism developments in the 2014-2020 EU budget period – V. Németh Zsolt, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, told in Békéscsaba on Friday.
The Minister of State announced the Ecotourism Facility of the Year 2015 competition at the opening event of the Hungarian National Parks Week 2015 series of events on Friday in Békéscsaba.
Mártonné Máthé Kinga, national director of the Magyar Turizmus Zrt. (Hungarian National Tourist Office) said that the tourism and the protection of nature is connected in the visitor centers of the national parks. She emphasized that mainly domestic tourists are visiting these places, but at the Lake Balaton and in Transdanubia an increasing number of foreign guests can be found among the visitors of the national parks.
