Sziget Festival has to pay

On the 11th of January several press releases were published; that the Sziget Kft. should pay 2.5 billion HUF public land usage fee in 2011 for the festival site of the Sziget Festival.

According to the official communication of the Municipality of Budapest; the public land usage fee will be developed individually, on the basis of the land area of the festival.
According to Gerendai Károly, Executive of the Sziget Kft.; the 2.5 billion fee, that appeared in the press would make the managing of the festival impossible – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
