The Butlers German home furnishings chain reported insolvency and asked for for bankruptcy protection.
According to communication of the company, published on Monday, the shops continue to remain open, and the employees will receive their salaries for the time being.
The aim of the procedure is the permanent renewal of the Cologne-oriented enterprise, to strengthen its competitiveness and market repositioning – the communication reveals. (MTI)
