Fitch: the growth of the Central and Eastern European EU economies is slowing down
The cyclical growth of the Central and Eastern European EU economies is likely to have peaked last year, but will remain relatively robust over the next two years, with exceeding its potential – according to Fitch Ratings’ annual regional forecast published on Friday in London.
According to the credit rating, the expected deceleration of the GDP of the regional economies in 2019-2020 will be caused by the weakening of the euro area growth, the gradual tightening of monetary policy and the slowing down of the EU disbursement. (MTI, Kertész Róbert)
