Fidelity International: Analyst Survey Starts – Competition for Net Zero Carbon Emissions
By the end of the decade, almost a quarter (24%) of all companies will be carbon neutral, according to a Fidelity International Analyst Survey showing that environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) considerations are becoming increasingly important across a wide range of sectors and regions.
European companies are already moving forward on this path: analysts estimate that 30 percent of them will be carbon-neutral by 2030, but Asian companies are also starting to close the gap: at least one in five companies in the Asia-Pacific region (23%) is expected will also achieve this objective by that deadline.
