Transemex shipping company rejuvenated its vehicle fleet
Transemex Kft. has significantly rejuvenated its vehicle fleet, the transport company purchased forty new DAF XG tractor units with an investment of about HUF 2 billion, the last copy of which was ceremonially handed over on Friday at the company’s site in Dunaharaszt.
The Turkish-Hungarian family business has been carrying out road transport, transport and logistics activities for more than 30 years, during which time it has become the market leader in the Hungary-Turkey relationship: 70 percent of its deliveries are in Turkey and 30 percent in the European Union.
At the ceremony, Gülsen Karanis, the ambassador of Turkey to Hungary, praised the fact that the Turkish-Hungarian foreign trade turnover exceeded 4 billion dollars and called it a medium-term goal to reach the turnover of 6 billion dollars. He emphasized that the logistics position that Hungary occupies as a member of the Visegrad Four (V4) and the European Union (EU) is valuable for Turkey. At the same time, Turkey provides opportunities for Hungary in trade with Asia and Africa, he added.
