Festivals enhancing champagne culture
The market of champagne has produced moderate growth last year. No major changes in demand have occurred. However, awareness and popularity of champagnes made using methode transvasée and methode traditionnelle is growing. Brut champagnes are available in an increasing number of stores. The majority of Hungarian consumers continue to prefer sweet flavours. The market share of champagnes with a lower alcohol content is increasing. Törley Charmant doux, remains the most popular product. Added value like gifts or glasses are used increasingly often in promotions. A summer promotion has been organised by Törley Kft focusing on champagne with strawberry. Following the end of the strawberry season, we have also organised a promotion for champagne cocktails made with fruit juice, in co-operation with Rauch.
