Disinfectant can be made from unconsumed Italian wines
One hundred and fifty million liters of wine remained in the hands of Italian wine producers last year due to lost consumption in restaurants and bars closed due to epidemic restrictions. Thestock would be made into a disinfectant according to a proposal.
According to a survey by the Coldiretti agricultural organization, 150 million liters more wine remained in Italian wine producers ’stocks last year than a year earlier. As of January 31, 2021, Italian wineries had 6.9 billion liters of ready-to-drink wine. (MTI)
