Ferran Adriá makes money of everything

The Hong Kong half of Sotheby's elBulli auction took place earlier today, and an evening for four with chef Ferran Adrià went for a whopping 220,500 HKD (about $28,406; all prices here include buyer's premium). The evening includes a “conversation around gastronomy” with Adrià at the famed elBulliTaller followed by dinner at Albert Adrià's Barcelona restaurant Tickets. That is a lot of money for dinner and a chat.
