The Contivo™ program program helps the farmers in sustainable income-generating farming

The Hungarian farmers have faced a number of problems in recent years, that basically influenced the success of their production. Such factors are the extreme weather, crop price volatility, increasing input material prices, shrinking financial opportunities. The Contivo™ program, that was created as the initiative of Syngenta, aims to help the domestic farmers with a unique professional collaboration.

Farmers have to carry out long-term sustainable profitability among increasingly complex and highly volatile economic environment, in addition to the extreme weather conditions. This is a huge challenge for the farmers not only in Hungary but also in other countries with similar conditions – Czigány Tibor executive director said at the conference unveiling the program in Budapest.
