Nestlé opens research institute targeting sustainable food systems
Nestlé has opened the Institute of Agricultural Sciences to research scientific solutions, in order to meet the growing demand for sustainable food that improves the livelihoods of farmers. Relying on the company’s existing expertise and experience in coffee and cocoa growing, the new institute will bring together experts to develop solutions in key focus areas, e.g. plant science, farming systems, and dairy farming.
