Kifli hires the couriers who have been working within the realms of kata
Kifli is the first major Hungarian company to offer its couriers an employee status instead of if they are no longer able to use kata, HVG points out.
Until now, the couriers worked as subcontractors for Kifli.hu, but from September this business model is not sustainable, because the majority of the suppliers were self-employed under kata.
Managing Director Péter Klekner announced that the company is reacting to the complete restructuring of kata taxation, and that they will also hire employees. New couriers also receive a starting bonus of 30,000 gross after the first month. A category B driver’s license and 1.5 years of accident-free driving experience are required for a successful application, the company wrote.
