myPOS acquires IQOM, helping to spread digital payment innovation
IQOM, a leading provider of digital payment solutions in Hungary – and the former official reseller of myPOS – is proud to announce the acquisition by myPOS, one of the fastest growing fintech companies in Europe. The merger of IQOM and myPOS opens a new era in the world of digital payments for Hungarian and Central and Eastern European businesses.

B. Tóth Ferenc
myPOS is the first fintech company that enables merchants to accept payments and access their funds instantly without unnecessary costs in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The company’s advanced payment and software solutions significantly facilitate modern and flexible financial transactions for businesses.
myPOS has a strong presence in key European markets and, with the support of leading global private equity investor Advent International, is well positioned to further expand its services with the acquisition of IQOM, thereby also helping businesses in Hungary to grow.
Following the merger, myPOS has appointed former IQOM owner and CEO Ferenc B. Tóth as myPOS CEE Director. In his new position, B. Tóth will be responsible for leading the regional expansion strategy, strengthening support for local businesses and effectively integrating IQOM services into the myPOS ecosystem.
“The merger of IQOM and myPOS opens a new era in the world of digital payments. Together, we will set a new standard for businesses in Hungary and CEE, facilitating the spread of faster, more secure and more flexible payment solutions.”
– said B. Ferenc Tóth.
