German firm Meggle acquires dairy company Rücker

German dairy company Meggle has agreed to acquire Rücker, which operates in Aurich and Wismar. Rücker has a history dating back more than 135 years and great expertise in cheese production, particularly in the field of Hirtenkäse products. In 2024 Rücker’s turnover was around EUR 500m and the company employed 610 people.
