Latin America's leading beer producer’s brewing business can be bought

A SABMiller and Heineken also interested in the purchasing of the brewing business of Mexican Femsa. The purchase price of the largest Latin American beer producer can be 7,5-8. billion USD.

Femsa confirmed that the company would like to sell its brewery business. They did not talk about the participating candidates, but the Wall Street Journal has been informed that SABMiller and Heineken are in talk with the company. After the news spread, Femsa shares have risen 17 percent in New York trading – reports Origo.
