AutoWallis enters the Czech car retail market with an acquisition
The AutoWallis group is acquiring the BMW business of the Czech car dealer Stratos Auto, the Hungarian company announced to MTI.
According to the announcement, AutoWallis will appear in three Czech cities – Prague, Hradec Králové and Pardubice – and will be able to acquire nearly 10 percent of the Czech BMW market. NC Auto (Stratos Auto) BMW sales were 650 cars in 2022 and 737 cars in 2023 (new and used).
In the first step of the transaction, AutoWallis represented the business branch NC Auto s.r.o. He buys 80 percent of it, and then increases his share to 100 percent within two years.
In addition to BMW retail, the agreement also affects the service related to it. The consent of the Czech Competition Authority is required to close the transaction – they wrote.
