Through acquisitions, companies are preparing to restore normal business operations
Most companies expect an economic recovery from the crisis caused by the health emergency next year, according to EY’s latest global survey of 2,900 senior executives. Companies will therefore not give up their takeover plans, which could play a significant role in post-crisis recovery.
Nearly half of companies worldwide (49 percent) have calculated this year’s profitability at the same or lower level as the results of two years ago, and due to the health emergency, the vast majority (95 percent) are now preparing for even lower profits.
