The do it yourself! movement was resurrected by the epidemic
Breadmakers, hair clippers and garden tools – it seems that Hungarians began to miss these from their households when they set up for quarantine life.
As MediaMarkt’s recent sales figures show, demand for some of these hit products has suddenly increased fivefold compared to an average monthly turnover due to the epidemic. Many people, however, continue to come into stores for the tools they need to work from home.
