German Schlecker drugstore chain to be liquidated
The German Schlecker drugstore chain will be liquidated. More than 13 thousand employees will be dismissed in in June.
Only the IhrPlatz and Schlecker XL networks will continue to operate from the Schlecker drugstore chain, which had more than 10 thousand stores in its golden years. The total of about 800 drugstores, and about five thousand employees, will be taken over by Dubag German investment company. (MTI)
