Territorial restrictions imposed in Hungary due to bird flu have been lifted
Thanks to the measures, the avian flu epidemic was eradicated, and in Bács-Kiskun and Csongrád-Csanád counties, the highly pathogenic virus has not been detected in domestic poultry since the end of April. Based on the results, Nébih ordered the dissolution of the still existing supervision (observation) districts on May 23.
Territorial restrictions due to avian influenza were abolished in Hungary with the lifting of surveillance districts. Domestic and EU transport from Bács-Kiskun and Csongrád-Csanád counties can now proceed without disturbance if the conditions prescribed by EU and domestic legislation are met. Commercial information about third countries can be found on the thematic subpage of Nébih.
