Match pays half-million compensation to the blind man
The blind man, who tried to enter into one of the store of the Csemege-Match Zrt. with his guide dog in October 2009 finally won a lawsuit against the company. The security guard and the cashier in command did not let him in – informed the Hungarian Helsinki Committee MTI.
According to the communication of the civil right protector organization; the Metropolitan Court of Appeal upheld the half-million HUF compensation and in the final ruling stated: public service cannot be denied from blind people, even if they can only use the service with the help of a guide dog – reports MTI.
