Half billion infected eggs in the U.S.A.
More than half billion eggs were withdrawn from the shelves of the U.S. stores, after more than 2000 people became ill with salmonella in the United States – wrote the American newspapers on Sunday.
According to the United States authorities; the number of ill people is expected to continue to increase as well as the eggs that should be destroyed. The probably infected eggs were transported into 17 States come from two farms of Iowa, which themselves have decided to withdraw the eggs. The Wright County Egg and Hillandale Farms, both owned by Austin "Jack" De Coster, whose firms found guilty in a number of health safety and labor law violation cases in the recent years – reports MTI.
