There will be half a billion 5G mobile subscriptions around the world in 2022

Ericsson predicts that the number of 5G mobile subscriptions in 2022 will reach 550 million worldwide, in North America the quarter of the mobile subscriptions will be 5G subscriptions by then.

The Asia-Pacific region will be the second fastest growing region. By 2022, the 5G subscriptions will reach 10 percent of the total number of mobile subscriptions – according to the latest Ericsson Mobility Report, published on Thursday. (MTI)
