MSZP would give 300,000 needy families food bank cards for HUF 20,000 per month.

Lajos Korózs, the vice president of the opposition party, said at a press conference broadcast on the MSZP Facebook page on Thursday that this food purchase subsidy is part of the household rescue package proposed by his party, which aims to ensure that families do not go without.

He said that data from the Central Statistical Office show that three hundred thousand families are in poverty in Hungary today, they have nothing to eat.
