The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) has published the latest data on the supply of Hungarian food on its website.
According to the survey, the share of domestic products in the stores of the 10 largest retail chains present in Hungary – primarily in international companies – fell, by about 70% in the most important food categories. In the case of fresh goods, domestic producers have retained their previous positions, but in the case of higher value-added products, half of the shelves are now occupied by foreign goods – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
